The title of this painting is intended to be read with your tongue hanging out. Tha’ Maketh Thenth is a self-portrait proportioned to how much space different organs and limbs take up in the hippocampus. Variations in hippocampus structure reflect routine activities and degrees of limb coordination. This illustration depicts an ontological hierarchy of sensory experience and how representations of the world are formed. Humans are sensory creatures, not purely rational beings.
